IP400 Line Select Configuration Guide
- Upgrade your IP400 Software to 1.0.1.18
- Note that this will mean you have to address the lines in the way described in this guide. You cannot use a legacy configuration with the IP400 on this software version.
- Ensure that your IPitomy PBX System Software is at least at version 3.0-2008. This software has a change that allows you to select a provider in outbound routes multiple times.
- In your IP400 when you configure the lines, note the numbers you place in the different lines.
- You will need to place these numbers in the provider settings as phone numbers.
- The IP400 will send the number configured for the line to the PBX when a call arrives.
- The numbers can be routed individually through Call Routing -> Incoming
- When you want to use a line on the IP400 in outbound routing
- Edit the Outbound Route
- Add the IP400 provider to the list of trunks
- With the IP400 selected in the trunk list, edit the dial prefix field and enter the number for the line that you configured earlier.
- Sending this prefix to the IP400 causes it to address the specified line. If you do not send a prefix, the call will fail.
